VOICE OF THE MISSIONARIES
TOPIC : Don`t Abandon Your Mission Field.
TEXT :Deuteronomy 28:1-13.
MEMORY VERSE : And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. Deuteronomy 28:1.
The principle of God has never change.His formula for measuring
performance remain intact.He said to Abraham go to a place where I will
show you..; He said to Elijah "Arise, get thee to Zarephath,which
belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there:behold,I have commanded a widow
woman there to sustain thee" 1 King 17: 9. So many questions eroded my
mind why Elijah was not sent to the richest man in the city considering
the level of his wealth and popularity.Instead,a widow with one son was
his host.
When some Pastors are posted to remote areas, suddenly they discover that " God said they should start their own ministry".Many General Overseers today are product of recalcitrance.In one of the daddy G.O`s ( Pastor Adeboye of RCCG) prayer meeting with Pastors, he said " As soon as you are posted your miracle is posted to your new location" . Going by this statement, meaning that those who object and lobby posting are fetching water with basket call it effort in futility you may be correct.
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. Deuteronomy 28:1. In another word, if you disobey me,there is nothing for you.
Where are you now ? Where God wants you to be or where you think is nourish with splendor? Are you working for God or you are pleasing yourself ? The fact is , if you are in the right place divine security and God`s provision will be adequate.Too late for Jonah to discover himself in the belly of fish before he turns to prayer machine.
REWARDS FOR RUN`AWAY SOLDIER.
1:He is on his own.
2:His security is not ascertain.
When you are on your own in the first place,how do you siege the Amalekite and Syrian encroaching your territory.Who will defend you when enemies come like a sword ? Isaiah 59:19.Reconcile with God and the authority of your mission,because whatever , a man or woman sow in same proportion if not more,he shall reap.
Prayer Point : I have made up my mind to serve you till the end,please keep me and meet all my needs in Jesus` name.Amen.
