TOPIC : Vanity Upon Vanity
TEXT : Ecclesiastes 4 : 4
MEMORY VERSE : Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity. Ecclesiastes 12:8.
The world is all a carcass and vanity, The shadow of a shadow, a play and in one world, just nothing.King David said " Remove far from me vanity and lies:Give me neither poverty nor riches:feed me with food convenient for me".His son-Solomon- finally wrote and said in Ecclesiastes 6:9 " Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire: this is also VANITY and vexation of spirit".
What comes to your mind when obituary of a poor or wealthy man or woman
is pasted ? For our vanity is such that we hold our own characters
immutable, and we are slow to acknowledge that they have changed.If long
life a purchasable the riches will stock it for redeemable of age.I
have come to realize that nobody is ready to die,even the mad man on the
street keep distance from incoming lorry.
However,according to Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 " To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die;....:" Soonest all beauty shall fade away. The creamy flesh shall turns breakfast for the maggot.We shall soon say goodbye to this world and everything in it. All levels of certificate and mansions shall be useless after death.
What is keeping you away from serving God will soon make you available for maggot after death.To those who burns their deceased after death and preserve the ashes for children to see.Life without Jesus is from frying pan to fire.
For a man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare;so are the sons of men snared in an evil time,when it falleth suddenly upon them.Eccl.9:12.
A dead animal is better than a dead human being because the formal has second value when the latter is breakfast for maggot.Come now to your creator before it is too late.No repentance in the grave. Prayer on the deceased after death is wasting of time now is the acceptable time and time of reconciliation with your creator before it is too late."Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them" Eccl.12:1
Repeat after me if you are ready to come back to Jesus, my Lord and my God,I accept you as my Lord and my Savior. Write my name in the book of life and keep me till the end.
PRAYER POINT : Oh Lord my God, separate me from what is keeping me away from you.
